Kota Reliquary Kota reliquary statue, guardian of ancestral relics, with a slightly concave face to better catch the light, composed of copper strips (one of which is detached) arranged horizontally, while another vertical strip represents the forehead. Copper cabochon eyes surround a thin, pointed nose. The neck is also covered in copper. The copper gives a shiny appearance intended to frighten away evil spirits.
